The End.

In the last two weeks I have left university. I have now graduated with a BA in English Literature and Theatre Studies. Three years of my life have gone whizzing past.

Logically, therefore, this can no long be called 'The University Based Adventures of Bobbikk', as the adventures will no long be based at university. However, I don't know what I AM going to call this, as I don't want to get rid of it. Hopefully I will be changing the site soon. I'm thinking blue. Oh, and also I have short hair now... so yeah, those pictures need to change too.

Look out for changes soon!

Why? Just... WHY?

My procrastination seminar is NEXT week.

I am up at 7.30 in the morning for NO GOOD REASON.

Want to know about the procrastination seminar? Well, I'm going to tell you anyway. I am going to a seminar to help me stop procrastinating. I put of work to the point of it being a superpower. It's something quite special to behold. "Don't worry lady who is dangling from the edge of a building whilst vultures are pecking at the last few feeble fingers holding on to the ledge, I'll save you! But first I'll just check my e-mail..."

Anyway, I was thrilled to find I had a place on this course! An end to procrastination! Or at least some reasoning behind why I do it. And then, suddenly a strange thing happened. My mental process went a bit like this:

"I'm going to stop procrastinating after that. I'll be ruthless and efficient like a machine. Oh well, that means I can procrastinate all I want for now! In fact, I might miss procrastination after the seminar, what with me being incapable of it then. I better get as much in as possible now."

NOTHING has gotten done since that moment.

Actually, let me rephrase that. Nothing WORTHWHILE has gotten done since that moment. So far I have:

Trounced 3 people at internet reversi.
Been trounced by about 30 people at internet reversi.
Tidied my room.
Dirtied my room.
Scolded myself for undoing all my hard work in tidying my room, but not done anything about it.
Stared at the pictures of me taken on Saturday. If you saw them, you'd understand.
Uploaded songs onto my computer.
Downloaded songs onto my MP3 player.
Decided they were not the right songs for creating a positive atmosphere and created a new playlist of ones that were.
Downloaded THOSE songs onto my MP3 player.
Gone out for cheese.
Shaved my beard into many hilarious shapes (a favourite passtime of mine)
Bought much needed CDs off the internet.
Bought an Iron Man action figure for my friend's birthday.
Made my bed and once again tidied my room.
Played with Iron Man action figure bought for my friend's birthday.
Trawled Wikipedia*
Written a blog about how I'm procrastinating.

As you can see, it's a pretty dire state of affairs. However work starts... now.

*Wikipedia is the most powerful tool in any procrastinators utility belt. For goodness sake, I looked up procratination on wikipedia. It should say at the end in big bold letters "What the hell do you think you're doing RIGHT NOW?"

Ok, work starts now.

Breast Givaways

Right, two things:

1. This website: www.thebreastcancersite.com. I know that no-one probably reads this blog anymore, due to the fact that it's been inactive for SO long, however, if anyone does still read it, please go to this site and click. It only takes a couple of seconds of your time and you could be helping save someone's life.

2. Internet Giveaway Scams. I was SO close to joining up to one. It was going to give me a Wii. All I had to do was fill in an 'offer' form and then get 8 of my friends to join up and do the same. Easy peasy lemon squeasy, eh? Then I remembered just how cynical my friends are and that about none out of 8 would get done. So, my dear friends, just remember when you next see me, that I'm Wii-less because of YOU. I hope it hurts.

(By the way, had another face off with a wasp. It won, I went and got my female housemate to get rid of it. Next time though...)

Smugness is for Free!

I should really keep up with this thing. However, I didn't think I could actually get onto my dashboard. I thought I'd lost the passwords.

Well, I went to watch Stardust the other day. It was really good. I didn't expect it to be, but it was. Some brilliant, more adult orientated humour in there. I've also bought the new Hundred Reasons, which is pretty good. Nothing will ever beat 'Ideas Above Our Station', which is just classic, however this is a good attempt from a band that has been through a hard time.

Anyway, I will try and keep up with the posts on here. It's been too long.

Also, I am Marc Antony in LUTG's production of 'Julius Caesar'. So if you're in Lancaster, or fancy coming to Lancaster to see it, please come along!

Bread and Butter Poems

Whether I wither away,
Or whether I wither at home,
Wherever I wither,
I find that I dither,
Upon where my withering may roam. - Me

This just came into my mind today. I don't know why, it just did. It could be a side effect of the six month old bread which I found under my bed today.

I'm not a slob, I just didn't know it was there.
